Adventure comes with a little bit of risk. Rara Lake falls in the remote area of Nepal. While it is safe, you have to leave all the luxuries aside while going to Rara Lake Trek. However, our team has years of experience in handling minor problems and health issues. As you will be trekking to a high altitude region, there is also a risk of altitude sickness. But with proper precautions, you can minimize the risk. In the case of any emergencies, our team is always on standby to help you and helicopter evacuations are also available.

We can not guarantee you that weather conditions will be right all the time. The flight might get delayed due to bad weather conditions or air traffic. You may have to wait for a few hours or a day. You need to get prepared for that. We do not proceed further until everything is right and safe as your safety is our first priority. If you have to wait for long, we will arrange a flight by helicopter. However, you have to pay an extra price for that.

You can carry 10 kg luggage and 5 kgs of handbag during Nepalgunj - Jumla flight. If you want to carry extra weight, you have to pay an extra price. You can keep your extra bag in the hotel or the office in Kathmandu as well.

It depends on the pace of your walking and the difficulty of the trail. On average, you have to walk around 5 to 7 hours a day. If you happen to walk slower than normal pace and left out in the group, one of our team members will always be with you.
