The slow and easy trekking in Everest allows visitors with more opportunity to explore around and soak into Buddhism culture of great interest, as it were for the past thousands of years.

This wonderful where one can solo trek in and around Everest, with much time to oneself, where you can enjoy interacting with native Sherpa, the highlanders of Nepal Himalaya and Everest.

A great Everest panorama trek with excellent scenery along the walk, walking from one village to another. Besides wonderful views of surrounding mountains and landscapes, you will be trekking within one of the world’s highest Sagarmatha National Park.

The park is listed in world heritage sites in 1979, located to the northeast of Kathmandu, within the high and scenic Khumbu region, a beautiful area that includes the tallest peaks in the world.

Such as Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho-Oyu, with other famous lesser 8,000 meters mountains like Ama Dablam, Pumori, Ama Dablam, Thermasarkhu, Kwangde, Khangtiaga and Gyachung Kang.

Adventure takes you within beautiful cool shade of coniferous forest lined with tall rhododendron, blue pines, and silver fir as you reach higher up walk into juniper and birch trees and short bushes.

Truly a leisure and pleasant high altitude walks in the harmony of a lovely mountain environment with the warm hospitality of Sherpa villagers, which adds more charm to this Everest panorama trek.

The Sherpa who migrated from southeast Tibet, and hence the name ‘Sher’ for east and ‘pa’ as people of the East, almost follows the same traditions and age-old heritage similar to Tibetans of Mahayana type of Buddhism religion, which you can witness on Slow and Easy Trekking in Everest region of scenic Khumbu.

The name for Everest in Nepal as Sagarmatha and Sherpa call as Chomolungma, in both languages, translates as ‘Great Mother’. On this scenic and pleasant walk visiting nice lovely villages adorned with Buddhism monuments.

The main settlements are Lukla, Phakding, Chowri Kharka and Monjo higher up Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Khunde, Thame, Thyangboche, Pangboche and Phortse.

The economy of the Khumbu Sherpa community has traditionally been heavily based on trade and livestock herding. But with the coming of international mountaineering expeditions since 1950 and the influx of foreign trekkers, the

Sherpa economy today is becoming increasingly dependent on tourism. The higher Khumbu area is populated by approximately 3,000 of the famed Sherpa people whose lives are interwoven with the teaching of Buddhism.

Slow and Easy Trekking in Everest starts with a sweeping panoramic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway town to higher Everest areas, as well most adventure completes in this busy town where the airport is named after famous legendry mountaineers ‘Tenzing and Hillary’ the first to conquer Mt. Everest in May 29th 1953.
