Everest View Trek is ideal for those with time or budget constraints preventing the possibility of visiting Everest Base Camp, but don't want to miss out on the experience of trekking into the beautiful Khumbu region. During the Everest View Trek (also known as the Everest Panorama Trek), you will be rewarded with exceptionally beautiful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam, and more. Apart from that, you will get the opportunity to experienc/e Sherpa culture (i.e. their lifestyle and tradition) more closely. These 9 days of trekking take you into Sagarmatha National Park. This park gives you an amazing opportunity to explore rare alpine wildlife in their natural habitat.

You will get mesmerizing bird’s eye views of lively forests, waterfalls, and rivers, as well as soaring peaks above you. Starting from Lukla, the trekking trail follows the bank of the Dudh Koshi river covered with rhododendron and oak forests. It is an easy Everest View Trek that lets you experience almost everything the Khumbu region has to offer you. Even though you won't go to Everest Base Camp itself, the journey to Tengboche is no less thrilling and adventurous. Everest View Trek provides you with a splendid view of majestic mountains at every step. The sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas is a mesmerizing view to behold. Tengboche Monastery is one of the major highlights of the journey, where you can learn about the history of Buddhism in the Sherpa community and enjoy picturesque views of the surroundings. Itineraries

First Day

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu Airport

• Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel
• Altitude: 1345 m
Our representatives will be there at the Tribhuvan International Airport with a “Sublime Trails” signboard with your name. You will be taken in our private vehicle to the hotel where you will spend the night to keep your belongings and freshen up. You will be given a brief description of the activities that we will take place during the upcoming trek. If you aren’t tired and have time, you can go out and roam around the streets of Thamel, it offers you shops featuring various antique, handmade and unique things you can buy as souvenirs.

Second Day

Day 2:Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding

• Accommodation: Tea House
• Trek Hours: 3-4 hours
• Altitude: 2610 m
You will wake up early, have breakfast and will be taken to Tribhuvan International Airport. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes 35-minutes. You will take off to Lukla together with your partners (if any), guides and porters. Lukla may surprise you with its dramatic shift in weather. In case the weather gets really bad, the flight to/from Lukla will be postponed. We believe that safety is the first priority.You will land on Lukla, a beautiful city and hike towards Phakding. You will walk the downhill path towards the Dudh Koshi River. You will first pass through Chaurikharka and then Ghat. Walking for a few hours you will reach Phakding. You will stay overnight at a teahouse which offers basic but homely accommodation and meals

Third Day

Day 3:Trek to Namche Bazar

• Accommodation: Tea House
• Trek Hours: 6-7 hours
• Altitude: 3440 m
Today you will walk towards Namche Bazaar. You will cross the Dudh Koshi river walk toward a valley. On the way, you will see the mountains such as Kusum-Kanguru, Thamserku as well. You may also get to see Mt. Everest and other mountains like Mt Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse. You will see forests walking through your path, you may see beautiful Rhododendrons if you’re traveling in summer. You will ascend towards Namche Bazaar after resting and having your lunch at Monjo. The area we will trek lies within Sagarmatha National Park, thus requires a permit. You will have to climb up the steep stairs to get to Namche.You can buy some stuff in Namche if you missed something or if you really like Tibetan artifacts and Yak cheese. You will have your dinner and stay at Namche.

Fourth Day

Day 4:Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

• Accommodation: Tea House
• Altitude: 3440 m
The point of acclimatization is to give your body some time to adapt with relatively high altitude and low levels of Oxygen before going higher. You need to stay at Namche for a whole day, hiking only short distances and returning, resting and preparing for the next day. For your short hikes, you can go to the Everest View Hotel where you may capture beautiful sunrise/sunset over the mountains. You may also roam around to observe the culture and way of life of people living there.

FifthFDay

Day 5:Namche to Tengboche

• Accommodation: Tea House
• Trek Hours: 5-6 hours
• Altitude: 3860 m
After breakfast, you will head towards Tengboche Monastery on Tengboche Village. You can see Pine and Rhododendron forests. You will have your lunch and cross the suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi river. You can see a really beautiful view of Mt. Amadablam and Thamserku. You may also catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest. The trail will offer you downhill descend as well as steep uphill climbing.
Tengboche Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery and hosts prayers, ceremonies and festivals. You can enjoy its majestic view in the beautiful sun and explore it. You will have dinner and spend the night at a teahouse in Tengboche.

Sixth Day

Day 6:Tengboche to Namche

• Accommodation: Tea House
• Trek Hours: 6-7 hours
• Altitude: 3440 m
Today you will return back to Namche following the same route as before.ENjoy the view of the mountains from a different perspective while returning back. You can take a rest and explore the Namche village.

Seventh Day

Day 7:Namche to Lukla

• Accommodation: Tea House
• Trek Hours: 7-8 hours
• Altitude: 2860 m
You will return to Lukla the same route we came, watching the same beautiful scenes and forests. You will reach Phakding and you will head towards Lukla. You will spend a night there. You can visit the places around Lukla if you aren’t tired because we didn’t do that when we first arrived at Lukla.

Eighth Day

Day 8:Lukla to Kathmandu

• Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel
• Travel Time: 35 minutes
• Altitude: 1345 m
• Domestic Flight
Today you will return back to Kathmandu. You will drop your luggage at the hotel you stayed on your first day and freshen up. You can either rest and chill on bars, spas and shop for souvenirs or you can visit different places. We will organize a farewell dinner for you in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with a cultural dance performed by local dancers. You will spend the night at your hotel.

Ninth Day

Day 9:Departure

Our representative will drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure. It was a pleasure serving you at SUBLIME TRAILS. We hope you had a great time during this trek and hope that the relationship developed between us will extend to further visits We would like to wish you all the best & a safe journey home.

Yes, Most of the tea houses provide you with the electricity facility during trekking. However, you need to pay an extra price for that. In peak seasons, you can also expect some queue while charging the devices.

It depends upon how much you can carry. Normally a porter can carry up to 15 kgs. You need to carry extra weight by yourself if you have any. So, it is necessary to optimize weight.

You have to reach to the elevation up to approximately 3900 m. So, there is a slight risk of altitude sickness. However, the acclimatization break in Namche helps you prevent it. You should also carry Diamox or equivalent medicine with you.
