Where one can shorten the treks for a week flying from Jomsom town, or taking a long drive after crossing Thorang-La Pass.

Not at all it’s not hard or tough, except for one day crossing over the highest point of the trek at Thorang-La Pass 5,416 m.

Starts with pleasant and gradual climb, with few short level path, more or less with gentle up. Rest of the walk is on winding path with slow ascent, the hardest is climb up to Thorang-La with long descend.

Taking slow and steady with short refreshing stops makes the walk much easier and enjoyable.

Your travel insurance will cover for extra expenses, as well if one gets very sick due to high altitude or other cause. In serious medical condition one needs immediate evacuation by fastest means of transport like Helicopter Service to bring the victim to nearest good hospitals or at Kathmandu. In this situation your medical insurance will support with extra expenses occurred.
