Itineraries
Day 1
From Kathmandu drive to Bulbule 845 m / 2,815 ft and 200 km distance ride of 6-7 hrs. (L/D)
Early morning drive from Kathmandu to reach around Nepal Mid-West as journey heads on main Kathmandu and Pokhara highway past many farm villages and towns, and then route diverts from Dumre town leaving the main road.
From here drive enters low warm agricultural area within Lamjung district and at Besisar headquarter town of the district, where journey continues heads following Masrsyangdi River to reach at Bulbule village for overnight stop.

Day 2
Drive to Chame 2,710 m/ 8890 ft on Local Bus 5 to 6 hrs. (B/L/D)
From Bulbule village after a pleasant overnight halt, morning drive continues on the bank of Masrsyangdi River to reach Syange village from here up to Jagat, and then into forested area, with super views of Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges.
Drive continues to Tal Besi village, another hour brings at Dharapani village and then finally at Chame for overnight stop, Chame a large, major town and headquarter of Manang district.

Day 3
Trek to Pisang 3,115 m / 10,200 ft - 05 hrs. (B/L/D)
From Chame our actual adventure continues walking into cooler area from here onward heading closer to mountainous region, trek through nice alpine forests of rhododendron and pine trees, following Masrsyangdi River upstream with short ups and down hills to Bhratang village.
From Bhratang village walk follows uphill through alpine woodland overlooking Chulu’s and Pisang peak, after lunch break at Dukuri Pokhari walk descends to lower Pisang village for overnight stop.

Day 4
Trek to Manang 3540 m/ 11,300 ft- 04 hrs. (B/L/D)
Pisang village with great views of mountains walk leads through woodland with short uphill and views of staggering Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna Chulu’s and Pisang peak.
As walk leads to Hongde village, from here tree lines disappear for barren, landscapes with cold, dry arctic climate. Before Manang, visit old Braga monastery with old Buddhist relics and then an hour walk brings at Manang village.
The houses here are built up in traditional Tibetan style and Manang people are known for their rich cultural and traditions. With time here to explore Manang village, located beneath Annapurna and Gangapurna mountain range and Manang glacial Lake.

Day 5
Trek to Ledar 4, 200 m/ 14, 206 ft - 04 hrs. (B/L/D)
After a good rest at Manang, morning walk leads towards Ghunsang village on the uphill path to Ledar past Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude trek with super views of snowcapped mountains, then crossing a small stream river to reach Yak Kharka.
After a short refreshing break an hour walk reaches you on a small settlement at Ledar for overnight stop offers tremendous views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Chulu Peaks.

Day 6
Trek to High Camp 4,900 m / 15, 091 ft -04 hrs. (B/L/D)
Morning heading much higher area, towards Thorang-la after a climb along the river bank, walk leads at Thorang Phedi, from here an hour of steep climb brings at Thorang High Camp for overnight stop.

Day 7
Trek to Muktinath 3, 800 m /12467 ft via Thorang la pass 5,416 m /17,769 ft - 07 hrs. (B/L/D)
Our main Big-Day! Of the adventure, with early breakfast trek follows a long climb up to Thorang-la with steep haul on the winding path to Thorang La Pass at 5,416 m / 17,769 ft.
The highest point of the trip, the pass offers super views of awesome sceneries of snowcapped peaks after feeling high reaching the main highlight, and then a long descend leads to Muktinath at 3,800 m.
On reaching Muktinath for overnight stop, a holy place for both Hindus and Buddhists the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’. Our walk ends at Muktinath from here onwards overland drive to Tatopani and then ending at beautiful and scenic Pokhara city.

Day 8
Drive to Tatopani 1,200 m/ 3, 940 ft on local bus – 05 hrs. (B/L/D)
After Muktinath, rest of the journey is pleasant with long overland drive rewards you with amazing views of Nilgiri-Tukuche-Dhaulagiri and Annapurna mountain range as the drive leads downhill to warmer past world deepest gorge of Kaligandaki River and then reaching at Tatopani for overnight stop.
Enjoy refreshing time taking a dip in natural hot-spring at Tatopani village which means Hot-Water / spring located near the village on the bank of Kali-Gandaki River.

Day 9
Drive to Pokhara 850 m / 2,788 ft -05 hrs. (B/L)
Last day journey takes you to Pokhara, after a most enjoyable and scenic time on Annapurna Circuit Trekking, drive follows Buri-Gandaki downstream to large town at Beni, headquarter town of Mygdi district.
Entering into much semi-tropical climate and then on main highway as drive takes you to Pokhara facing amazing views of Annapurna Himalaya all the way to Pokhara for overnight stop near the shore of Lake Fewa.

Day 10
Drive back to Kathmandu 1,350 m/ 4,450 ft. – 06 hrs. (B)

Depending upon the programs with itinerary days chosen as per your holidays in Nepal. Actually the whole circuit is of two weeks treks from Dharapani village to Pokhara with drives both ways.
Where one can shorten the treks for a week flying from Jomsom town, or taking a long drive after crossing Thorang-La Pass.
Not at all it’s not hard or tough, except for one day crossing over the highest point of the trek at Thorang-La Pass 5,416 m.
Starts with pleasant and gradual climb, with few short level path, more or less with gentle up. Rest of the walk is on winding path with slow ascent, the hardest is climb up to Thorang-La with long descend.
Taking slow and steady with short refreshing stops makes the walk much easier and enjoyable.
From longest hours of 6 hours to shortest 4 hours, average walks of 5-6 hours from the start to the end of the walk on Annapurna Circuit trekking.

Yes, it is best to carry your own warm sleeping bag with inner linear which is more hygienic. Although most lodges provides blankets, but using own sleeping bag will be more of comfort and makes you feel much better.
Remember Annapurna Himalaya, located around Far North Mid-West Nepal, where Everest is situated Nepal Far North Mid-Eastern Himalayas. A distance of more than 500 to 600 km, so you won’t be able to see Everest from Annapurna region.
Yes, one can travel and trek around Annapurna Himalaya as the circuit on your own, the best is taking a guide and a porter or porter as guide and companion will be safest and enjoyable.

It is a must one needs to purchase travel and medical insurance for one safety and precaution. Unfortunate thing can take place anywhere, such as bad sudden weather, even in the best time of the seasons.
Where Himalayan weather can be unpredictable sometime, where crossing over Thorang-La pass could be not possible on heavy deep snow. Where the company might have to re-route towards other destinations, as well in case of political situation and road-blocks.
Your travel insurance will cover for extra expenses, as well if one gets very sick due to high altitude or other cause. In serious medical condition one needs immediate evacuation by fastest means of transport like Helicopter Service to bring the victim to nearest good hospitals or at Kathmandu. In this situation your medical insurance will support with extra expenses occurred.
On this trek slight chance of catching altitude sickness, where walk leads to slow pace and the altitude gains gradually. Stopping each nights at certain heights supports and helps you to get acclimatize.
Ibuprofen is a pain killer, for sore ankle or muscles will be great help to add in your own medical list. Diamox just carry as pre-cautionary measures, as you won’t be needing just in case.
If it is too much to carry from home as per the weight allowance on international flights. One can buy any types of trekking gear and warm clothing including down jackets and sleeping bags as well on hire.
One can buy in Kathmandu, where some gear might be cheaper than from your home country.
Extra baggage or luggage with unwanted clothing or items not required on trek, can leave in the hotel store room or Trekking Planner will take care of it. As well some valuables that you do not want to take on trek, can leave in the hotel safe deposit box.
Not in the beginning of the trek as you will be going highest destinations, where alcohol can be risky. As it de-hydrates you and can make your health weaker. The best is not to drink beer or alcohol before crossing high Thorang-La pass which is at 5,416 m high.
After the pass, one can enjoy all types of hard and having party all the way to Pokhara, as you will be heading down on return trek.
All kinds of snacks are available on route trekking from potato chips, dry cheese ball from the packets to biscuits and chocolates. Including nuts or bakery products in larger villages and town of Chame and Manang, as well at Jomsom, Marpha and Tatopani.
One can order snacks at restaurants for French fry, noodles to dumpling called Momo and etc.
Showers hot or cold available throughout the trek, except at High Camp before the pass of Thorang-La. On best good lodges showers and bathrooms are of western standard, only in few places around smaller villages or settlements have basic and simple bathrooms.
Most lodges around villages do have good electricity power, where one charge any types of electronics gear or items, some places like Yak Kharka and High Camp, after Manang will have electricity run by solar power. For charging every items one needs to pay as per hour, the price can differ from one village to another.
Most big villages and towns do have Wi-Fi like in Dharapani, Chame, Pisang and Manang. The only places where WiFi will not be available is at Yak Kharka, Ledar and High Camp before Thorang-La Pass. If it’s available it will have disturbing service due to the area of cold climate or in cloudy days. Rest of the area on treks are good for WiFi and available all around the route on overnight stops.
Yes, all cell services will have good networks, at present most part of Nepal mountainous area do have towers for receiving good networks services. Sometimes the cell service can be disturbing due to bad weather with dense clouds. As well in deep gorges hidden behind high mountains and hills. But in most places all types of cell service works, where some lodges on route do have Sat-Phone, as well STD and ISTD service as well.
