Highlights

Pokhara Jomsom Trekking takes the trekkers right through the deepest river gorge in the world formed by the mighty Kali Gandaki River between the famous Annapurna massifs and the Dhaulagiri range of mountain. Trekkers traverse along the last section of the Annapurna Circuit trek route and through the villages with diverse communities, culture and traditions, changing landscapes, rare wildlife, flora and fauna, and different climate as well as magnificent and glittering Himalayan ranges. Join the Pokhara Jomsom Trekking route and experience the natural, biotic and religious uniqueness besides the richness in various aspects.

This naturally rich and diverse trail in Pokhara Jomsom Trekking begins from the northwest of Tourist capital of Nepal, the Lake city of Pokhara. Beginning along the bank of Bhurungdi River the trail explores through the dense rhododendron forest, stone stairs, beautiful waterfalls, and pristine rivers and popular settlements such as Tikhedhungga and Ghorepani as we proceed further in the trail. Witnessing one of the most surreal scenery of sunrise in the famed Poonhill, the trail enters into the Kali Gandaki River valley as we are accompanied by the Kali Gandaki River in our upstream trek along the river.

Through the settlements of Sikha, Ghara, Tatopani, Larjung, Marpha and others, trekkers in this Pokhara Jomsom Trekking get to the arid landscape of Jomsom valley and finally to the religious shrine of Muktinath, sacred for both the Buddhist and Hindu community. Intermittently trekkers get to experience the diversity in terms of inhabitation (such as Brahmin, Chhetris, Thakali, Magar and other communities), flora and fauna (including rhododendron flower in several colors such as red, pink, white and purple, conifers, Chestnut, Oak, Hemlock, Blue Pine and others, Langur moneys and various species of birds), landscape (from lush valleys in the lower altitude to the semi-desert terrain in and around Jomsom and Muktinath) and the panoramic view of mountain massifs including Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri range, Gaganpurna, Mount Nilgiri, Tukuche peak and Thorung Peaks among the others mountains. Trekkers return from the flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and then to Kathmandu announcing the end of this relatively short yet extensively rich trekking destination.

Pokhara Jomsom Trekking offers the trekkers to experience extensive diversity and richness, thus scores of contrasts and myths in various dimensions. It begins with some easy trekking sections and exposes you to moderately challenging sections during the trek, thereby requiring the trekkers to be prepared for the same. Explore the Kali Gandaki River basin, the junction of Indian and Tibetan plateau, with comprehensive diversity and thereby forms an interesting trekking destination. Join us to experience the religious harmony, diversity and enthralling landscape and scenery. In a trekking trail that reaches up to 3800m at the most, trekkers find relatively easier to complete the trek. Join this trek as soon as possible!
