The trail to the base camp is moderately challenging, with a few steep ascents. However, the combination of natural beauty and cultural encounters makes it worthwhile.

Acclimatization is key to success, and the itinerary includes acclimatization days to prepare for the altitude. As the trek ascends, climbers reach the base camp, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The summit day is the most challenging part, involving early morning starts to catch the best weather conditions. Day 01 :

Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

Overview: After arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. This is a rest day for last-minute preparations, briefings, and gear checks for the trek ahead.

Day 02 :

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

Altitude: 1,503 meters

Duration: 8 hours drive

Overview: The drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi is scenic, with views of terraced farmlands, rolling hills, and distant mountain ranges. Syabrubesi is a small town and the starting point for many treks in the Langtang and Ganesh Himal regions.

Day 03 :

Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang

Altitude: 2,340 meters

Duration: 6 hours

Overview: The trek begins by ascending from Syabrubesi through forests and terraced hills. Gatlang is a beautiful Tamang village rich in culture. You'll experience traditional Tamang homes and lifestyle, as well as stunning mountain views.

Day 04 :

Trek from Gatlang to Yuri Kharka

Altitude: 3,280 meters

Duration: 5 hours

Overview: The trail leads uphill through forests and alpine meadows, providing breathtaking views of the Ganesh Himal. Yuri Kharka is a small settlement and grazing area at higher altitude, where you will camp or stay in basic lodges.

Day 05 :

Trek from Yuri Kharka to Cross Khurpudanda Pass and to Somdang

Altitude: 3,750 meters (Khurpudanda Pass), 3,260 meters (Somdang)

Overview: You will cross the Khurpudanda Pass, a challenging high-altitude pass offering panoramic views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal ranges. After crossing the pass, you’ll descend to Somdang, a peaceful village located in a beautiful valley.

Day 06 :

Trek from Somdang to Jasta Khani

Altitude: 3,700 meters

Overview: The trek continues towards Jasta Khani, a remote grazing area used by herders. The trail takes you through forested paths and opens up into high-altitude meadows. The day involves gradual ascent, preparing you for the higher altitudes to come.

Day 07 :

Trek from Jasta Khani to Paldor Base Camp

Altitude: 4,280 meters

Duration: 6 hours

Overview: As you ascend towards Paldor Base Camp, the trail becomes steeper and the environment more rugged. You will reach the base camp, located at the foot of Paldor Peak, surrounded by impressive mountain landscapes.

Day 08 :

Acclimatization Day at Paldor Base Camp

Altitude: 4,280 meters

Duration: 6 hours (light activity)

Overview: This day is dedicated to acclimatization to help your body adjust to the high altitude. You can explore the surrounding area with short hikes to higher elevations, then return to Base Camp to rest and prepare for the summit push.

Day 09 :

Trek from Paldor Base Camp to High Camp

Altitude: 5,300 meters

Duration: 5 hours

Overview: Today you will make the steep ascent to High Camp (C1). The route involves navigating rocky terrain and glaciers. The views along the way are spectacular, with peaks all around. Upon reaching High Camp, you will set up for the night.

Day 10 :

Summit of Paldor Peak and Back to Paldor Base Camp

Altitude: 5,896 meters (Paldor Peak), 4,280 meters (Base Camp)

Duration: Full day

Overview: The most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. You will start early for the summit of Paldor Peak (5,896 meters), using climbing gear to navigate the icy slopes. After reaching the summit and enjoying the panoramic Himalayan views, you will descend back to Base Camp.

Day 11 :

Trek from Paldor Base Camp to Somdang

Altitude: 4,305 meters

Duration: 7 hours

Overview: Retrace your steps from Paldor Base Camp to Somdang, descending through the alpine meadows and forests. After the summit, the descent will feel more comfortable but still requires careful attention due to the rugged terrain.

Day 12 :

Trek from Somdang to Narchet Kharka

Day 14 :

Trek from Sertung to Jharlang

Overview: The descent continues through picturesque villages and agricultural fields, eventually reaching Jharlang, a lower-altitude village surrounded by hills and terraced farmland. The landscape gradually shifts from alpine to more temperate zones.

Day 15 :

Trek from Jharlang to Darkha

Altitude: 1,557 meters

Duration: 6-7 hours

Overview: The trail from Jharlang to Darkha leads through rural villages, terraced hills, and lush green landscapes. The descent becomes steeper as you approach the lower-altitude areas, with warmer temperatures.

Day 16 :

Trek from Darkha to Khahare Bazaar

Altitude: 720 meters

Duration: 5-6 hours

Overview: You will descend further to Khahare Bazaar, a bustling market town along the banks of the Trishuli River. The environment here is more tropical, with terraced fields and traditional homes scattered along the hillside.

Day 17 :

Drive from Khahare Bazaar to Kathmandu

Altitude: 1,350 meters

Duration: 7 hours

Overview: From Khahare Bazaar, you will drive back to Kathmandu along the scenic route, passing through countryside villages, forests, and rivers. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you’ll check into your hotel for some much-needed rest and relaxation.

Day 18 :

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for Final Departure

Altitude: 1,350 meters

Duration: 0.5 hours

Overview: After your successful trek and climb, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home. This concludes your adventure in Nepal.
