The journey ins with a drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche, followed by Syaphrubesi. From there, the caravan route proceeds through Kyanjing and Langsisha Kharka, leading to the base camp. The total caravan route covers approximately 49.1 kilometers, starting from Dhunche. The climbing route itself spans about 14.2 kilometers. The entire expedition typically lasts around 28 days.
