Day 01 :

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,461m)

Duration: 7-8 hours drive
Your adventure begins with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The drive winds through picturesque hills, terraced farmlands, and villages, offering stunning views of the Trishuli River. As you ascend, the landscape transitions to lush green forests and snow-capped peaks in the distance. Syabrubesi is a gateway village for many treks, located near the Langtang National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into a guesthouse and prepare for the next day's trek.

Day 02 :

Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,337m)

Duration: 5-6 hours trek
After breakfast, you’ll begin your first trekking day toward Gatlang, a beautiful Tamang village perched on a hillside. The trail leads through terraced fields, forests, and small villages, offering insights into the local lifestyle. Gatlang is known for its traditional stone houses and rich Tamang culture. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to explore the village and interact with the locals.

Day 03 :

Trek from Gatlang to Somdang (3,271m)

Duration: 6-7 hours trek
Today’s trek takes you through forests of pine and rhododendron as you ascend higher into the mountains. You’ll cross several small streams and pass through charming hamlets. The scenic beauty intensifies as you approach Somdang, a village surrounded by alpine meadows. Somdang is also known for its historical connection to the old mining community. You’ll camp or stay at a lodge near the village, with spectacular mountain views surrounding you.

Day 04 :

Trek from Somdang to Pangsang Pass (3,842m)

Duration: 3-4 hours trek
The trek today takes you up to the Pangsang Pass (La), a major highlight of this trek. As you ascend, the views open up, providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains, including the Langtang, Ganesh, and Manaslu ranges. The pass itself offers incredible views and a sense of accomplishment. After spending time at the pass, you’ll descend slightly to set up camp or stay in a lodge for the night.

Day 05 :

Trek from Pangsang Pass to Shertung (1,875m) via Chalise

Duration: 5-6 hours trek
Today’s trek will take you to Shertung, passing through the village of Chalise. The descent offers a refreshing change in the landscape, with views of green valleys and local settlements. Shertung is a traditional Tamang village, and you’ll have the opportunity to witness local customs, festivals, and religious practices. Spend the night in a local lodge and enjoy the hospitality of the villagers.

Day 06 :

Trek from Shertung to Hindung (2,220m)

Duration: 5-6 hours trek
The trek from Shertung to Hindung is scenic, with a path that winds through dense forests and across rolling hills. Hindung, also known as the gateway to the Ganesh Himal Base Camp, is a small, peaceful village. The village is primarily inhabited by the Tamang people, and the simplicity of their lives adds to the charm of the place. Tonight, you’ll rest here, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

Day 07 :

Trek from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka

Duration: 5-6 hours trek
Today's trek leads you to Rajgang Kharka, a beautiful grazing pasture used by local herders. The trail takes you through alpine meadows and forests, with the occasional view of the surrounding mountains. Rajgang Kharka is a remote and serene spot, perfect for a night under the stars. Camp or stay in basic accommodations here.

Day 08 :

Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake) and Ganesh Himal Base Camp

Duration: 6-7 hours trek
Today is one of the most exciting days of the trek as you head toward Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Along the way, you’ll pass the sacred lakes of Kalo Seto Kunda, known as Black and White Lake. These lakes hold religious significance for both Hindus and Buddhists. As you ascend to the base camp, you’ll be greeted by breathtaking views of the Ganesh Himal range. The base camp provides awe-inspiring views of Ganesh I (7,422m) and other surrounding peaks.

Day 09 :

Rest Day at Ganesh Himal Base Camp

Today, you’ll have a well-deserved rest day at the base camp. Spend the day exploring the surrounding area, soaking in the incredible views, and taking photographs. You can also take short hikes around the base camp or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of this remote location.

Day 10 :

Trek from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka

Duration: 6-7 hours trek
After a restful day at the base camp, you’ll retrace your steps back to Rajgang Kharka. The descent is filled with the same beautiful landscapes, and you’ll have another night to enjoy the serene beauty of the region.

Day 11 :

Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2,000m)

Duration: 6-7 hours trek
Today's trek takes you back down to the village of Chalise. The descent provides ample opportunities to capture stunning views and interact with local villagers along the way. Chalise offers a warm welcome as you return to a lower altitude and more populated areas.

Day 12 :

Trek from Chalise to Jharlang

Duration: 7-8 hours trek
The trek from Chalise to Jharlang is a long but rewarding journey. You’ll pass through terraced farmlands, forests, and small villages, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the local people. Jharlang is a traditional village where you’ll stay for the night, experiencing the local culture and hospitality.

Day 13 :

Drive from Jharlang to Kathmandu

Duration: 7-8 hours drive
On the final day of the trek, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu. The journey offers one last chance to soak in the beauty of Nepal’s countryside. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just completed.
